If you like to indulge in a drink every now and then, keep your cash at home if you intend to do your drinking in a brick and mortar casino. I’m serious. clean out your billfold, your wallet, and leave all money, bank cards and chequebooks at home. Take just the cash you intend to spend on drinks, tipping and whatever pocket coins you plan on loosing and keep the rest behind.
Pessimistic? Not at all. Practical more like. You might well discover a win after a boozy night out with your friends and be lucky enough to catch a marathon roll at a smokin’ craps table. Hold on to that adventure because it’s as brief as it gets if you continually drink and gamble. The 2 simply don’t mix.
Leaving your money at home is a bit dramatic, however, precautionary measures for drastic actions is relative and required. If you bet to succeed, then do not consume alcohol and play. If you are able to afford to throw away your cash without a worry, then consume all the no cost booze your gut can hold, but don’t take debit cards and checks to throw into the combination of chasing losses once your drunk as a skunk brain throws away all the cash!
